National Parents’ Day at Montessori Senior Secondary School:
Montessori Senior Secondary School, A-Camp, Kurnool, celebrated National Parents’ Day with immense joy and enthusiasm as part of its historic 50th Golden Jubilee year. The special event, themed “Joy Muse,” was organized to honor parents and strengthen the meaningful connection between families and the school.
Enthusiastic Participation: A large number of parents turned up alongside their children, eagerly diving into all the planned activities right from the start.
Bonding Activities: The school conducted specially designed, collaborative fun games that promoted teamwork, healthy competition, and beautiful bonding moments between parents and children.
Grand Finale: The celebration concluded on a high note with a prize distribution ceremony, where the management rewarded winning participants to recognize their stellar performances and sporting spirit.

Montessori Senior Secondary School’s Startup Club provides an exceptional “Classroom to Boardroom” platform where students actively pitch real-world business ideas directly to professional investors. By blending the foundational self-direction of the Montessori method with hands-on entrepreneurial mechanics, this club functions as an active incubator for student-led innovation. Rather than just memorising textbook economics, senior secondary students gain a competitive edge by transforming conceptual solutions into viable, investor-ready market products.

The Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Montessori Educational Institutions are underway in a grand manner. On the occasion of the death anniversary of the institutions’ founder, Smt. P. Kalyanamma garu, a mega blood donation camp was organized at the school campus in Kurnool. The event was officially inaugurated by Kurnool Member of Parliament (MP), Bastipadu Nagaraju. Speaking on the occasion, MP Nagaraju highlighted that Montessori Educational Institutions hold a highly prestigious reputation across the entire Rayalaseema region. Over 500 volunteers stepped forward to donate blood during this mega drive. Adding to the significance of the occasion, July 13th is also celebrated as the Founder’s Day of the institution.

The campus of Montessori Junior College wore a festive look as management, faculty, and students hosted “Srikaram”, the grand Freshers’ Day Celebrations, to officially welcome the incoming junior intermediate batch. True to its name, the event marked an auspicious and joyful beginning for the new academic session. The celebrations commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the College Principal and management dignitaries. The cultural segment of Srikaram featured a spectacular lineup of events, including classical welcome dances, energetic cinematic dance medleys, soulful musical tributes, and hilarious campus-life skits.

The main highlight of the day was the Srikaram Jr. walked the ramp, where juniors showcased their style, talent, and intellect across multiple rounds. The Principal congratulated the organizing team and advised the freshers to make the best use of the college’s resources to build a strong foundation for their futures. The event concluded with a high-energy DJ session and a festive lunch.

On the occasion of World Zoonoses Day, our institution organised a special awareness program to educate students on public health, animal welfare, and responsible living.We were deeply honoured to welcome three distinguished Chief Guests, who brought diverse and valuable perspectives to our students. Dr. Karthika Lakshmi, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, shed light on the medical aspects of zoonotic diseases, highlighting key preventive healthcare measures to keep both humans and animals safe. Ms. Leela, Member of the Manavatha Foundation, spoke passionately about practicing compassion towards animals and understanding our shared ecosystem. Smt. Aparna, Sister from the Brahma Kumaris Organisation, inspired our students with words on the spiritual and practical importance of leading a healthy, balanced, and responsible life. The interactive sessions left our students more informed, empathetic, and conscious of their roles in the community. Montessori Students Drive Health Awareness Through BMI Activity: Students of Classes VI and VII at Montessori Sr. Secondary School recently stepped up as health ambassadors by organizing a Body Mass Index (BMI) Assessment Activity. This peer-led initiative combined practical math skills with essential health education.

Montessori Senior Secondary School successfully organized a Monsoon Seed Ball Drive to mark the arrival of the rainy season and foster environmental awareness among students.
