Little Hands, Green Hearts: Eco-Friendly Vinayaka Idol Making Workshop!

In celebration of the festive season, our school recently organized a wonderful Vinayaka Idol Making Activity. True to our Montessori ethos of respecting nature and fostering creativity, our students participated with boundless enthusiasm and joy. Our young artists turned into eco-warriors as they sculpted beautiful idols using completely natural clay. To ensure the celebrations remain gentle on Mother Earth, the children used natural, non-toxic colors and eco-friendly materials to decorate their creations. This hands-on experience not only allowed students to explore their artistic talents but also taught them the vital lesson of environmental sustainability. Seeing the campus filled with unique, handcrafted, and earth-friendly idols made by our talented students was an absolute delight. Young Wordsmiths Shine at Our Junior Spell Bee Competition!: Our campus was buzzing with excitement recently as we organized a Spell Bee Competition specifically for our enthusiastic students of Grades 3 and 4. Aligned with our Montessori philosophy of fostering a lifelong love for learning, this competition was designed to enhance vocabulary, build confidence, and celebrate language development. The young contestants participated with incredible energy and focus, showcasing their impressive spelling skills across multiple rounds. The event concluded with a heartwarming felicitation ceremony. The brilliant winners were honored with medals and certificates to celebrate their exceptional achievements. Additionally, all participants received certificates to recognize their hard work and active participation. A huge congratulations to our little champions, and a sincere thank you to our teachers and parents for their constant support.

On the occasion of Telugu Language Day today (30-8-2026), a literary meeting was held at T.G.V. Kalakshetram with over a hundred experienced litterateurs, elders, and language enthusiasts in attendance. Holding the microphone with absolutely no fear, our young children from Montessori A-Camp recited their poems clearly and with deep emotional meaning: E. Nirmala Jyothi (9 MLF), K. National Sports Day is celebrated across India on 29 August every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey wizard, Major Dhyan Chand. It is a proud moment for all the students who have excelled, showed immense sportsmanship, and won medals and trophies in various games during your school or college celebrations. Independence Day Celebrations @ Montessori Sr Secondary School

Montessori Sr Secondary School, A-Camp, Kurnool celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit, and joy. The entire school campus was filled with the colours of patriotism as students and teachers participated actively in a variety of cultural and patriotic activities.

The celebrations began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our respected Director, Mr. K. N. V. Rajasekhar. The unfurling of the Tricolour was followed by the National Anthem, creating a proud and emotional moment for everyone present.

Students came dressed in beautiful and colourful traditional and patriotic attire and participated enthusiastically in various dance performances representing the rich cultural heritage of India. The NCC students presented an impressive march-past with discipline and confidence.

A special highlight of this year’s celebration was the participation of our teachers in the march-past. Their energetic participation added a unique charm to the programme and inspired the students. Teachers also dressed in traditional costumes representing different states of India and presented a vibrant cultural dance, beautifully showcasing the country’s unity in diversity.

The teachers delivered inspiring speeches on India’s freedom, patriotism, national unity, and the responsibilities of young citizens. Their words encouraged students to respect the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and contribute positively to the nation.

The programme concluded on a patriotic note with the National Song, followed by the distribution of sweets to the students, making the celebration memorable and joyful for everyone.

The Independence Day celebrations at Montessori Sr Secondary School truly reflected the spirit of “Unity in Diversity” and reminded everyone that patriotism is not only about celebrating our freedom but also about working together to build a better and stronger India.

Congratulations to Shruti, a student of Montessorian, for her outstanding performance at the 11th Sub-Junior and Junior Inter-District Aquatic Championship – 2026. The state-level swimming competitions were held in Visakhapatnam on the 18th and 19th of this month. Competing in the Girls’ Group 1-B category, Shruti achieved remarkable success by winning three medals. Gold Medal in the 100 Meters Butterfly event: Silver Medal in the 200 Meters Backstroke event: Bronze Medal in the 50 Meters Butterfly event

Montessori Senior Secondary School’s Startup Club provides an exceptional “Classroom to Boardroom” platform where students actively pitch real-world business ideas directly to professional investors. The Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Montessori Educational Institutions are underway in a grand manner. On the occasion of the death anniversary of the institutions’ founder, Smt. P. Kalyanamma garu, a mega blood donation camp was organized at the school campus in Kurnool. The event was officially inaugurated by Kurnool Member of Parliament (MP), Bastipadu Nagaraju. Speaking on the occasion, MP Nagaraju highlighted that Montessori Educational Institutions hold a highly prestigious reputation across the entire Rayalaseema region. Over 500 volunteers stepped forward to donate blood during this mega drive. Adding to the significance of the occasion, July 13th is also celebrated as the Founder’s Day of the institution.

The main highlight of the day was the Srikaram Jr. walked the ramp, where juniors showcased their style, talent, and intellect across multiple rounds. The Principal congratulated the organizing team and advised the freshers to make the best use of the college’s resources to build a strong foundation for their futures. The event concluded with a high-energy DJ session and a festive lunch.

On the occasion of World Zoonoses Day, our institution organised a special awareness program to educate students on public health, animal welfare, and responsible living.We were deeply honoured to welcome three distinguished Chief Guests, who brought diverse and valuable perspectives to our students. Dr. Karthika Lakshmi, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, shed light on the medical aspects of zoonotic diseases, highlighting key preventive healthcare measures to keep both humans and animals safe. Ms. Leela, Member of the Manavatha Foundation, spoke passionately about practicing compassion towards animals and understanding our shared ecosystem. Smt. Aparna, Sister from the Brahma Kumaris Organisation, inspired our students with words on the spiritual and practical importance of leading a healthy, balanced, and responsible life. The interactive sessions left our students more informed, empathetic, and conscious of their roles in the community. Montessori Students Drive Health Awareness Through BMI Activity: Students of Classes VI and VII at Montessori Sr. Secondary School recently stepped up as health ambassadors by organizing a Body Mass Index (BMI) Assessment Activity. This peer-led initiative combined practical math skills with essential health education.

Montessori Senior Secondary School successfully organized a Monsoon Seed Ball Drive to mark the arrival of the rainy season and foster environmental awareness among students.
